The Pine Haven Collective is a group of friends and collaborators living and working in Portland, Maine.

As artists raised in an age of complication and ceaseless connectivity, Pine Haven comes together to indulge a mutual appreciation for simplicity, self-reliance and the pace of the past. Installations emphasize connections to the natural world and aspects of the elemental relationship between humans and the Earth.

Pine Haven wages utopian exploits in the spirit of the Transcendalists and counter cultural communes of the 1960’s within a contemporary context, reviving the traditions and techniques of the past as means of overcoming the challenges of the present.
